Linda M James is a writer of short stories, poems, novels, non-fiction books and screenplays. She has been a Creative Writing Tutor at The Trinity Arts Centre and The Camden Centre in Tunbridge Wells for 12 years. Now she has moved to Whitstable to be near the sea and is starting writing workshops there. Please scroll to the Writing Classes page for more information.

She has had four books published and is having two more published in 2012 and 2013. In 2008/9 she was commissioned to write three screenplays: Young Ivanhoe, Young Helen of Troy and Jesus Christ:The Missing Years.

Her contemporary psychological thriller The Day Of The Swans is being published in July, 2012. At the heart of the novel lies an intriguing question: if memories give us our identity, what happens if someone gives us false ones and makes us believe them?
