Linda's book launch on 28th July at Waterstones, Tunbridge Wells attracted the largest crowd Waterstones have ever had - 92 people attended. She gave a lively talk about her two novels "The Invisible Piper" and "Tempting The Stars" and her non-fiction book called "How To Write Great Screenplays". This was followed by a question and answer session and celebratory drinks.

Here are a few of the many reviews about the evening.

'It was great on Tuesday to listen to your readings, your inspiring advice to your students and to get swept along by your enthusiam for language!

I am looking forward to reading the books very much.'

Roger Norton. Duty Manager at Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.

'What an incredible evening. I was really impressed by your launch and the excellent turn out. Can't wait to read the books!'

John Urling Clark. Film Producer, Centre Media. London.

'What a wonderful turnout last night and a really great talk from you. If I hadn't already bought the books it would have had my cheque book out. Well done!'

Hilary Gould. Secretary of The Kennel Club, London.

'Just a quick word of congratulations on last night. I realise you're used to presenting in front of people but you might like to know that you came across brilliantly, with the right amount of humour to keep everybody happy.'

Margaret Davies. Author.

'Many thanks Linda for the lovely evening, and I'm really glad it went so well. Some excellent networking going on. I met some very interesting people.

I will get a photo of you speaking and use it in an article to all hospital staff in Monday's 'Weekly Brief'. I'll also include link to the book on Amazon.

This morning I have also tweeted about the launch': www.twitter.com/qvh

Jeremy Peters, Communications Manager, Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.

'I really must congratulate you.  First and foremost, of course, for the simultaneous publication of three books; and then the booklaunch, which went so well. And, incidentally, gave us all a good night out.  Very many thanks.  It'll certainly stay in my memory.'

Audrey Hooker. Short Story Writer.

'Linda, you were brilliant last night and it was great seeing you "perform". It was just the right note and my friend from the USA really enjoyed herself too.'

Fiona Fountain. Fiona Fountain Associates.

This talk will soon be on You Tube.
