THE DAY OF THE SWANS
A Contemporary Thriller
Anna Nash is a beautiful, trainee clinical psychologist who seems to have everything: a happy marriage to her husband Tim and the devoted love of her parents, Celia and Paul. Then one day a client called Stefan walks into the clinic where Anna works and her stable world starts to disintegrate in unexpectedly bizarre ways.
Stefan takes her to a house on a cliff overlooking the sea in a stunning part of South Wales and Anna knows she must fight, not only for her own life, but the life of her unborn child.
The Day Of The Swans is a tense thriller written from four different perspectives. Each perspective layers the story with fragments of each characters’ past which revolve around Anna.
Linda M James has made the reader intrigued, not only by what the characters reveal, but by what they hide. We start to question whether Stefan is suffering from paranoid delusions or not. We don’t discover the ‘truth’ until the last page of this fascinating, thought-provoking book.
