POEMS FOR DIFFERENT DAYS
In this section I have included a small collection of my poetry. Poems like MY MOTHER, IRMA SPERLING IN THE BRAIN CHAMBER, and IN THE U BAHN are written from deep emotion and will, I hope, elicit some response from you.
But like my other writing, I also concentrate on the light and quirky side of life in poems like CIRCE, ANTHONY CLARE IN THE CHAIR and PARENTS’ EVENING. ( Written after teaching an ‘unusual’ young man.)
IN THE U BAHN and THE KISS show the duality of Vienna.
Perhaps you can decide in what category A LIGHT GRAMMER, FALL OF THE SPARROWS, CORDON BLEU and THE KISS should be placed.
I have written over a hundred poems: haiku, free
verse, sonnets and many other forms; some have been published, some have lingered
too long in drawers. Like every poet, I would love them to be published in an
anthology.
